Tento modul umo\u017enil neskor\u0161ie roz\u0161\u00edrenie ISS o eur\u00f3pske laborat\u00f3rium Columbus a japonsk\u00fd experiment\u00e1lny modul Kib\u014d. Pri tomto lete bol tie\u017e premiestnen\u00fd sol\u00e1rny panel P6 na svoju fin\u00e1lnu poz\u00edciu.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=7410\"> Astronaut<\/a> Clayton Anderson sa vr\u00e1til na Zem a v pos\u00e1dke stanice ho vystriedal Daniel M. Tani. Program bol sponzorovan\u00fd NASA a firmou Lockheed Martin.<\/p>\n<h2>U\u017eito\u010dn\u00e9 za\u0165a\u017eenie<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pozd\u013a\u017e dver\u00ed do n\u00e1kladov\u00e9ho priestoru <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=468\">orbitera<\/a> bol umiestnen\u00fd manipul\u00e1tor RMS (Remote Manipulator System), dia\u013ekovo ovl\u00e1dan\u00e9 pohybliv\u00e9 rameno raketopl\u00e1nu. Na pravoboku sa nach\u00e1dzala predl\u017eovacia ty\u010d IBA (Inspection Boom Assembly), ktor\u00e1 sa na obe\u017enej dr\u00e1he prip\u00e1ja na koniec RMS a so senzormi na nej je mo\u017en\u00e9 kontrolova\u0165 tepeln\u00fd \u0161t\u00edt raketopl\u00e1nu. Ty\u010d bola vyvinut\u00e1 preto, lebo samotn\u00e9 manipula\u010dn\u00e9 rameno nedosiahne na v\u0161etky \u010dasti tepeln\u00e9ho \u0161t\u00edtu. V n\u00e1kladovom priestore bol \u010falej umiestnen\u00fd uzol ODS (Orbiter Docking System), ktor\u00fd umo\u017e\u0148uje orbiteru spoji\u0165 sa s ISS. T\u00e1 obsahovala americk\u00fd modul Harmony (sk\u00f4r zn\u00e1my ako Node 2) so \u0161tyrmi nap\u00e1jac\u00edmi skri\u0148ami a troma skladovac\u00edmi skri\u0148ami, a prip\u00e1jacie zariadenie PDGF (Power data Grapple Fixture) pre mechanick\u00e9, elektrick\u00e9 a d\u00e1tov\u00e9 pripojenie manipul\u00e1toru stanice s distribu\u010dnou rozvodnou jednotku SPDU (Shuttle Power Distribution Unit). Harmony bol prv\u00fd hermetizovan\u00fd ob\u00fdvate\u013en\u00fd modul dopraven\u00fd na stanicu od j\u00fana 2001, kedy bola in\u0161talovan\u00e1 prechodov\u00e1 komora Quest Joint Airlock Module.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Po spojazdnen\u00ed tohto druh\u00e9ho prechodov\u00e9ho modulu na ISS bolo mo\u017en\u00e9 vo febru\u00e1ri 2008 pripoji\u0165 eur\u00f3pske laborat\u00f3rium Columbus a nesk\u00f4r japonsk\u00fd experiment\u00e1lny modul Kib\u014d. Oba tieto moduly pou\u017eili bo\u010dn\u00e9 porty Harmony. Raketopl\u00e1n bol pri misii STS-120 pripojen\u00fd na uzol PMA-2. In\u0161tal\u00e1cia Harmony prebehla v dvoch etap\u00e1ch. Najsk\u00f4r sa pripojil na port modulu Unity. Po odlete raketopl\u00e1nu bol pomocou stani\u010dn\u00e9ho manipul\u00e1tora odpojen\u00fd PMA-2 z laborat\u00f3ria Destiny a bol presunut\u00fd na predn\u00fd port Harmony. Nakoniec preniesol manipul\u00e1tor Harmony z jeho p\u00f4vodn\u00e9ho umiestnenia na fin\u00e1lnu poz\u00edciu na predku Destiny.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Celkov\u00e1 hmotnos\u0165 orbitera aj s n\u00e1kladom pri \u0161tarte dosahovala 130 ton. Predch\u00e1dzali tomu technick\u00e9 probl\u00e9my s \u00fanikom hydraulickej kvapaliny, \u010do nemalo vplyv na d\u00e1tum \u0161tartu. 30. septembra sa cel\u00e1 zostava na mobilnej plo\u0161ine MLP presunula na \u0161tartovaciu rampu 39-A. V r\u00e1mci predletov\u00fdch testov a pr\u00edprav prebehlo 9. a\u017e 10. okt\u00f3bra sk\u00fa\u0161obn\u00e9 odpo\u010d\u00edtavanie s ozna\u010den\u00edm TCDT (Terminal Count Down Test). 20 okt\u00f3bra 2007 sa za\u010dalo skuto\u010dn\u00e9 odpo\u010d\u00edtavanie v \u010dase T-43 hod\u00edn na \u0161tart 23. okt\u00f3bra 2007 o 17:38 SEL\u010c a v ten ist\u00fd de\u0148 dorazila na Kennedyho vesm\u00edrne stredisko aj pos\u00e1dka. 23. okt\u00f3bra d\u00e1valo po\u010dasie 40 % \u0161ancu na \u0161tart, najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161ie ohrozenie \u0161tartu v\u0161ak predstavoval nakumulovan\u00fd \u013ead na n\u00e1dr\u017ei ET, kv\u00f4li ktor\u00e9mu bol na rampu vyslan\u00fd osobitn\u00fd t\u00edm. O 09:13 SEL\u010c sa n\u00e1dr\u017e ET za\u010dala nap\u013a\u0148a\u0165 palivom, v \u010dase pribli\u017ene 14:18 pos\u00e1dka za\u010dala nastupova\u0165 do raketopl\u00e1nu. O 15:23 sa uzavrel vstupn\u00fd prielez do raketopl\u00e1nu a po obnoven\u00ed odpo\u010d\u00edtavania v \u010dase T-9 min\u00fat (17:29) odpo\u010d\u00edtavanie bez preru\u0161enia pokra\u010dovalo a\u017e k \u0161tartu.<\/p>\n<h2>\u0160tart<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Raketopl\u00e1n Discovery \u00faspe\u0161ne od\u0161tartoval hne\u010f na prv\u00fd pokus 23. okt\u00f3bra 2007 z\u00e1\u017eihom motorov SRB v \u010dase 15:38:20 UT (17:38:20 SE\u010c). V \u010dase T +00:34 a\u017e T +00:49 sa pl\u00e1novane zn\u00ed\u017eil \u0165ah motorov SSME. 2 min\u00faty a 3 sekundy po \u0161tarte sa od n\u00e1dr\u017ee ET oddelili motory SRB. V \u010dase T +08:24 nastal man\u00e9ver MECO (vypnutie hlavn\u00fdch motorov raketopl\u00e1nu SSME) a o 26 sek\u00fand nesk\u00f4r bola odhoden\u00e1 pr\u00e1zdna n\u00e1dr\u017e ET. 37 min\u00fat po \u0161tarte bol raketopl\u00e1n Discovery z\u00e1\u017eihom motorov OMS (Orbital Maneuvering System) naveden\u00fd na obe\u017en\u00fa dr\u00e1hu (man\u00e9ver OMS-2).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_3058\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\" style=\"width: 200px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/512px-STS-120_liftoff.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-3058\" src=\"http:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/512px-STS-120_liftoff-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\u0160tart raketopl\u00e1nu Discovery STS-120\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/512px-STS-120_liftoff-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/512px-STS-120_liftoff.jpg 512w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u0160tart raketopl\u00e1nu Discovery STS-120<\/p><\/div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Na obe\u017enej dr\u00e1he<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Po\u010das prv\u00e9ho d\u0148a letu prebiehala kontrola tepeln\u00e9ho \u0161t\u00edtu pomocou syst\u00e9mu OBSS. Kamery a senzory na predl\u017eovacej ty\u010di postupne prehliadli n\u00e1be\u017en\u00e9 hrany a \u0161pi\u010dku orbitera. Vo \u0161tvrtok 25. okt\u00f3bra v \u010dase 14:40 SEL\u010c sa raketopl\u00e1n \u00faspe\u0161ne spojil s Medzin\u00e1rodnou vesm\u00edrnou stanicou, presnej\u0161ie s modulom PMA-2 (Pressurized Mating Adapter 2). Predch\u00e1dzal tomu man\u00e9ver RPM (Rotation Pitch Maneuver), oto\u010denie raketopl\u00e1nu okolo krat\u0161ej vodorovnej osi, pri\u010dom pos\u00e1dka ISS fotografovala jeho tepeln\u00fd \u0161t\u00edt. Ani z\u00e1bery kamier, ani testy OBSS, ani sn\u00edmky uroben\u00e9 pri man\u00e9vri RPM neuk\u00e1zali nijak\u00e9 po\u0161kodenie tepeln\u00e9ho \u0161t\u00edtu Discovery. Po kontrole hermetickosti spoja sa o 14:39 UT otvoril prielez medzi raketopl\u00e1nom a komplexom. Nasledovalo tradi\u010dn\u00e9 sl\u00e1vnostn\u00e9 priv\u00edtanie pos\u00e1dky na stanici a bezpe\u010dnostn\u00e9 \u0161kolenie pos\u00e1dky Discovery. \u0160peci\u00e1lne tvarovan\u00e1 v\u00fdpl\u0148 kresla zo z\u00e1chrannej lode Sojuz-TMA 11 pre Claytona Andersona bola premiestnen\u00e1 do raketopl\u00e1nu a v\u00fdpl\u0148 pre Daniela Taniho bola prenesen\u00e1 do Sojuzu, \u010d\u00edm sa Anderson stal \u010dlenom pos\u00e1dky raketopl\u00e1nu a Dani \u010dlenom pos\u00e1dky ISS. Potom astronauti in\u0161talovali a pripojili syst\u00e9m SSPTS (Station-to-Shuttle Power Transfer System) pre dod\u00e1vku elektrickej energie z rozvodnej siete stanice do raketopl\u00e1nu. Ich prvou \u00falohou bolo demontova\u0165 ant\u00e9nu SASA (S-band Antenna Support Assembly) z ITS-Z1 a ulo\u017ei\u0165 ju do n\u00e1kladov\u00e9ho priestoru raketopl\u00e1nu. Medzit\u00fdm Daniel Tani prezrel madl\u00e1 na voz\u00edku CETA (Crew and Equipment Translation Aid), \u010di na nich nie s\u00fa ostr\u00e9 hrany, ktor\u00e9 by mohli po\u0161kodi\u0165 rukavice skafandrov. Potom prehliadol probl\u00e9mov\u00fd rota\u010dn\u00fd spoj SARJ-S3. Po demontovan\u00ed jedn\u00e9ho krytu objavil ve\u013ek\u00e9 mno\u017estvo kovov\u00fdch hobl\u00edn, ktor\u00e9 tam nemali by\u0165. Po video- a fotodokument\u00e1cii a odobrat\u00ed vzoriek, ktor\u00e9 putovali na Zem na anal\u00fdzu, pripevnil Tani kryt na svoje miesto a za\u010dal robi\u0165 rekonfigur\u00e1ciu kabel\u00e1\u017ee vo vn\u00fatri nosn\u00edku ITS-S0. \u010ealej sa astronauti venovali in\u0161tal\u00e1cii z\u00e1chytnej kotvy PDGF (Power Data Grapple Fixture) na spodn\u00fa stranu modulu Harmony, za ktor\u00fa mal by\u0165 modul po odlete raketopl\u00e1nu chyten\u00fd stani\u010dn\u00fdm manipul\u00e1torom a prenesen\u00fd do fin\u00e1lnej poz\u00edcie na prednej strane modulu Destiny. Pre nedostatok \u010dasu ale muselo by\u0165 elektrick\u00e9 prepojenie odlo\u017een\u00e9 na tret\u00ed v\u00fdstup a odlo\u017een\u00e1 bola tie\u017e v\u00fdmena jedn\u00e9ho chybn\u00e9ho bloku RPCU (Remote Power Control Unit). Druh\u00fd v\u00fdstup do kozmu sa skon\u010dil po 6 hodin\u00e1ch a 33 min\u00fatach.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">29. okt\u00f3bra boli povelom z riadiaceho strediska rozlo\u017een\u00e9 dve ve\u013ek\u00e9 kr\u00eddla radi\u00e1toru na ITS-S1. Odpojen\u00fd ITS-P6 bol presunut\u00fd najprv stani\u010dn\u00fdm manipul\u00e1torom SSRMS, ktor\u00fd ho odovzdal manipul\u00e1toru raketopl\u00e1nu RMS (Remote Manipulator System). RMS napokon P6 vr\u00e1til op\u00e4\u0165 stani\u010dn\u00e9mu manipul\u00e1toru, ktor\u00fd ho dostal do tesnej bl\u00edzkosti P5. Jeho kompletn\u00e9 mechanick\u00e9 a elektrick\u00e9 pripojenie dokon\u010dili astronauti Parazynski a Wheelock pri tre\u0165om v\u00fdstupe do kozmu EVA-3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Riadiace stredisko sa rozhodlo odlo\u017ei\u0165 oddelenie raketopl\u00e1nu od ISS a n\u00e1sledn\u00e9 prist\u00e1tie o jeden de\u0148. V\u00fdstup sa za\u010dal o 08:45 UTC. Astronauti \u00faspe\u0161ne pripojili ITS-P6 k P5. N\u00e1sledne Parazynski vykonal kontrolu \u013eavobo\u010dn\u00e9ho spoja SARJ-P3 a zistil, \u017ee spoj je \u00faplne \u010dist\u00fd bez n\u00e1znakov kovov\u00fdch pil\u00edn, opotrebovania alebo po\u0161kodenia. Preto bolo rozkladanie zastaven\u00e9 a nesk\u00f4r bol panel o jeden diel zatiahnut\u00fd sp\u00e4\u0165, aby sa zn\u00ed\u017eilo nap\u00e4tie na vodiacom lane, ktor\u00e9 nap\u00ednalo natrhnut\u00fa \u010das\u0165 panelu. Hoci bol panel pravdepodobne napriek po\u0161kodeniu schopn\u00fd dod\u00e1va\u0165 pr\u00fad do elektrorozvodnej siete, technici na Zemi h\u013eadali rie\u0161enie probl\u00e9mu. Napokon rozhodli, \u017ee in\u0161pekciu spoja SARJ-S3 odvolaj\u00fa a hlavn\u00fdm cie\u013eom zvy\u0161ku misie sa stane oprava sol\u00e1rneho panelu. S po\u0161koden\u00fdm panelom P6 \u2013 4B nie je mo\u017en\u00e9 pohybova\u0165 okolo spoja SARJ-P3, \u010d\u00edm je blokovan\u00fd aj pohyb panelov na nosn\u00edku ITS-P4. Preto sa v\u0161etka snaha orientovala na pln\u00e9 rozvinutie a stabiliz\u00e1ciu po\u0161koden\u00e9ho panela, aby sa mohli za\u010da\u0165 ot\u00e1\u010da\u0165 aj nepo\u0161koden\u00e9 panely. Hoci mno\u017estvo elektrickej energie, ktor\u00e9 takto blokovan\u00e9 panely vyr\u00e1bali, sta\u010dilo vtedaj\u0161\u00edm potreb\u00e1m stanice, pre bud\u00face moduly Columbus a Kibo by u\u017e nesta\u010dilo. 31. okt\u00f3bra popoludn\u00ed prebehla tla\u010dov\u00e1 konferencia s pos\u00e1dkou Discovery a stanice. Po\u0161kodenie sol\u00e1rneho panelu sp\u00f4sobilo ve\u013ek\u00e9 zmeny v pl\u00e1ne na zvy\u0161ok misie. \u0160tvrt\u00fd v\u00fdstup EVA-4, po\u010das ktor\u00e9ho mali astronauti p\u00f4vodne testova\u0165 objekt\u00edv DTO 848 (Detailed Test Objective 848) a nov\u00e9 sp\u00f4soby opravy tepeln\u00e9ho \u0161t\u00edtu raketopl\u00e1nu, sa stal zameral na opravu po\u0161koden\u00e9ho panelu. V\u00fdstup bol odlo\u017een\u00fd na 3. novembra, jeho pl\u00e1n bol upresnen\u00fd 1. novembra. Astronaut Parazynski bude na konci n\u00e1stavca OBSS nasaden\u00e9ho na stani\u010dnom manipul\u00e1tore dopraven\u00fd k po\u0161koden\u00e9mu miestu, kde sa pok\u00fasi ru\u010dne uvo\u013eni\u0165 zachyten\u00e9 vodiace lanko ktor\u00e9 zrejme sp\u00f4sobilo po\u0161kodenie. Astronaut Parazynski sa dostal na koniec ramena stani\u010dn\u00e9ho manipul\u00e1toru, ku ktor\u00e9mu sa pripevnil a na ramene bol dopraven\u00fd a\u017e k miestu po\u0161kodenia sol\u00e1rneho panelu. Pod doh\u013eadom Wheelocka a pozemn\u00e9ho t\u00edmu sa Parazynski pok\u00fasil uvo\u013eni\u0165 zaseknut\u00e9 vodiace lanko. To v\u0161ak bolo pr\u00edli\u0161 zamotan\u00e9, preto ho astronaut prestrihol. Jedna \u010das\u0165 lanka bola stiahnut\u00e1 sp\u00e4\u0165 a namotan\u00e1 na bubon, druh\u00fa stranu Parazynski zasvorkoval. Potom umiestnil na natrhnut\u00fa \u010das\u0165 panelu 5 spon, ktor\u00e9 uvo\u013enili nap\u00e4tie v sol\u00e1rnom paneli. Po kontrole spoja sa vzdialil od panelu, aby na\u0148 dohliadal pri roz\u0165ahovan\u00ed. Vo vn\u00fatri stanice za\u010dala pos\u00e1dka panel znovu rozklada\u0165. Po ka\u017edom roztiahnutom polmetri kontroloval Parazynski stav kritick\u00e9ho miesta. Panel sa podarilo \u00faspe\u0161ne plne rozvin\u00fa\u0165 o 15:23 UTC. Potom e\u0161te obaja astronauti znovu skontrolovali pole slne\u010dn\u00fdch panelov 2B a 4B a v\u00fdstup do otvoren\u00e9ho priestoru ukon\u010dili v \u010dase 17:22 UTC. V\u00fdstup trval 7 hod\u00edn 19 min\u00fat a s touto dokon\u010denou vych\u00e1dzkou do kozmu mal za sebou Parazynski celkove sedem v\u00fdstupov do kozmu s celkovou dobou trvania 47 hod\u00edn a 5 min\u00fat, \u010do je piaty najdlh\u0161\u00ed \u010das str\u00e1ven\u00fd pri v\u00fdstupoch do otvoren\u00e9ho priestoru.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Po ukon\u010den\u00ed v\u00fdstupu bolo aktivovan\u00e9 sledovanie Slnka \u013eavobo\u010dn\u00fdmi panelmi a aktivovan\u00fd bol aj rota\u010dn\u00fd spoj SARJ-P3. Z energetick\u00e9ho h\u013eadiska bola stanica teda pripraven\u00e1 na prijatie modulov Columbus a Kibo. Piaty v\u00fdstup do kozmu (EVA-5) bol prelo\u017een\u00fd a\u017e na dobu po odlete raketopl\u00e1nu a teda po\u010das tejto misie neprebehol. 4. novembra ve\u010der sa pos\u00e1dky raketopl\u00e1nu a ISS rozl\u00fa\u010dili a prielez medzi raketopl\u00e1nom a stanicou sa uzavrel. Teles\u00e1 sa od seba odpojili na druh\u00fd de\u0148 o 11:32 SE\u010c (10:32 UTC). Po tradi\u010dnom oblete a fotografovan\u00ed stanice raketopl\u00e1n pre\u0161iel na samostatn\u00fa dr\u00e1hu. Vstup do atmosf\u00e9ry vo v\u00fd\u0161ke 122 km nastal v \u010dase 17:30 UT, v \u010dase 18:01:18 UT dosadol na dr\u00e1hu zadn\u00fd podvozok a v \u010dase 18:01:32 UT aj predn\u00fd. Raketopl\u00e1n sa zastavil o 18:02:13 UT. Na Zem sa tak vr\u00e1til aj Clayton Anderson po viac ne\u017e 150 d\u0148och str\u00e1ven\u00fdch na obe\u017enej dr\u00e1he.
