Rozhodne ho v\u0161ak netreba opomen\u00fa\u0165, u\u017e len pre jeho rozmery. S priemerom 4 806 km je Kallisto v\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed ako Mesiac Zeme. Po <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=7791\">Ganymede<\/a> je druh\u00fd najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed mesiac <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=3943\">Jupitera<\/a> a celkove tret\u00ed najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161\u00ed mesiac v <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=962\">slne\u010dnej s\u00fastave<\/a>. V porovnan\u00ed s ve\u013ek\u00fdmi mesiacmi Jupitera m\u00e1 v\u0161ak mal\u00fa hmotnos\u0165 a najmen\u0161iu hustotu \u2013 iba 1,85 g\/cm<sup>3<\/sup>, \u010do je necel\u00fd dvojn\u00e1sobok hustoty vody. Mesiac sa sklad\u00e1 zo 40 % z \u013eadu a 60 % z kremi\u010ditanov a \u017eeleza. Meno dostal po milenke boha Dia, ktor\u00e1 je na oblohe hne\u010f dvakr\u00e1t. Druh\u00fdkr\u00e1t v podobe s\u00fahvezdia <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=1232\">Ve\u013ek\u00e1 medvedica<\/a>. Na t\u00fa ju toti\u017e pod\u013ea gr\u00e9ckeho m\u00fdtu zakliala Diova man\u017eelka H\u00e9ra, ke\u010f sa o ich rom\u00e1niku dozvedela.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Okolo Jupitera obieha Kallisto po takmer kruhovej dr\u00e1he priamym smerom. Ke\u010f\u017ee jeho dr\u00e1ha vedie mimo radia\u010dn\u00e9ho p\u00e1su Jupitera, jeho povrch nie je zaplavovan\u00fd energetick\u00fdmi i\u00f3nmi ako u zvy\u0161n\u00fdch troch mesiacov. Zo v\u0161etk\u00fdch Galileov\u00fdch mesiacov obieha Kallisto naj\u010falej od <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=6020\">plan\u00e9ty<\/a> a v s\u00falade s tret\u00edm Keplerov\u00fdm z\u00e1konom mu preto z nich trv\u00e1 jeden obeh najdlh\u0161ie \u2013 16,7 d\u0148a. Ako v\u0161etky Galileiho mesiace, aj on m\u00e1 viazan\u00fa rot\u00e1ciu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mesiac m\u00e1 ve\u013emi slab\u00e9 a premenn\u00e9 magnetick\u00e9 pole. P\u00f4vod po\u013ea zatia\u013e nie je celkom objasnen\u00fd. Ke\u010f\u017ee Kallisto m\u00e1 extr\u00e9mne riedku <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=6627\">atmosf\u00e9ru<\/a> a nedostatok nabit\u00fdch \u010dast\u00edc v nej, samotn\u00e1 atmosf\u00e9ra na generovanie magnetick\u00e9ho po\u013ea nesta\u010d\u00ed. Je mo\u017en\u00e9, \u017ee pod povrchom mesiaca sa nach\u00e1dza slan\u00fd oce\u00e1n, ktor\u00fd by mohol by\u0165 zdrojom elektrick\u00fdch pr\u00fadov a magnetick\u00fdch pol\u00ed podobne ako je to u mesiaca <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=7979\">Eur\u00f3pa<\/a>. Premenlivos\u0165 magnetick\u00e9ho po\u013ea sa vysvet\u013euje vplyvom magnetick\u00e9ho po\u013ea Jupitera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Atmosf\u00e9ra mesiaca je ve\u013emi riedka a zlo\u017een\u00e1 preva\u017ene z oxidu uhli\u010dit\u00e9ho so stopami molekul\u00e1rneho kysl\u00edka. Pre takmer nemerate\u013en\u00fd atmosf\u00e9rick\u00fd tlak (7,5 pbar) sa \u010dasto uv\u00e1dza, \u017ee Kallisto atmosf\u00e9ru nem\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Povrch mesiaca je zlo\u017een\u00fd z \u013eadu a skalnat\u00e9ho materi\u00e1lu. Obsahuje ove\u013ea viac impaktn\u00fdch kr\u00e1terov ne\u017e zvy\u0161n\u00e9 tri Galileiho mesiace a m\u00e1 najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161iu hustotu kr\u00e1terov zo v\u0161etk\u00fdch telies v slne\u010dnej s\u00fastave. V\u00e4\u010d\u0161ina z nich m\u00e1 rozmer od 3 do 50 km, no priemer najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161ieho kr\u00e1tera je a\u017e 600 km. Mno\u017estvo kr\u00e1terov mo\u017eno vysvetli\u0165 t\u00fdm, \u017ee povrch m\u00e1 vek vy\u0161e 4 miliardy rokov podobne ako svetl\u00e9 pevniny na Mesiaci. Formoval sa e\u0161te v \u010dase <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=1253\">utv\u00e1rania slne\u010dnej s\u00fastavy<\/a>. Nako\u013eko Kallisto nem\u00e1 sope\u010dn\u00fa aktivitu ani atmosf\u00e9rick\u00fa er\u00f3ziu, star\u00e9 kr\u00e1tery nemaj\u00fa by\u0165 ako zahladzovan\u00e9. Ve\u013ek\u00e9 kr\u00e1tery v\u0161ak pravdepodobne zahladil pomal\u00fd tok \u013eadovej k\u00f4ry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kr\u00e1tery s\u00fa pomenovan\u00e9 pod\u013ea hrdiniek a hrdinov seversk\u00fdch b\u00e1j\u00ed. Ve\u013ek\u00fd kr\u00e1ter Tornarsuk s priemerom 104 km je napr\u00edklad pomenovan\u00fd pod\u013ea b\u00e1jneho gr\u00f3nskeho hrdinu. Impaktn\u00e9 panvy maj\u00fa okolo seba s\u00fastredn\u00e9 prstence, ktor\u00e9 mohli by\u0165 sp\u00f4soben\u00e9 vodou, ktor\u00e1 vytryskla z hlb\u0161\u00edch \u010dast\u00ed mesiaca po dopade plan\u00e9tok a kom\u00e9t. T\u00fdmto ist\u00fdm sp\u00f4sobom vznikli aj jasn\u00e9 l\u00fa\u010de okolo men\u0161\u00edch kr\u00e1terov. Zdroj: NASA<\/p><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">V\u00fdrazn\u00fdmi povrchov\u00fdmi \u00fatvarmi s\u00fa dve obrovsk\u00e9 impaktn\u00e9 panvy. Najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161ia z nich, Valhalla, je s priemerom 3 000 km najv\u00e4\u010d\u0161ou panvou v\u00f4bec. Druhou impaktnou panvou je Asgard, ktorej vonkaj\u0161\u00ed priemer je 1 600 km. Nenach\u00e1dzaj\u00fa sa tu nijak\u00e9 vysok\u00e9 pohoria, \u010do je pravdepodobne d\u00f4sledok \u013eadovej povahy povrchu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">K\u00f4ra mesiaca siaha do h\u013abky pribli\u017ene 200 km. \u00dadaje zo sondy Galileo uk\u00e1zali, \u017ee pod \u0148ou le\u017e\u00ed pravdepodobne slan\u00fd oce\u00e1n s h\u013abkou 10 km. Voda sa udr\u017eiava v tekutom stave pravdepodobne v\u010faka r\u00e1dioakt\u00edvnemu rozpadu vn\u00fatorn\u00fdch horn\u00edn. Pred misiou sondy Galileo vedci nepredpokladali, \u017ee vn\u00fatro mesiaca by mohlo by\u0165 diferencovan\u00e9 na jadro, pl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 a k\u00f4ru. \u00dadaje zo sondy nazna\u010duj\u00fa, \u017ee vn\u00fatro je tvoren\u00e9 zhusten\u00fdmi horninami a \u013eadom.
