NASA. Prebiehal v rokoch 1965 a\u017e 1966. Bol priamym pokra\u010dovan\u00edm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=6138\">programu Mercury<\/a>. Meno Gemini, latinsky Bl\u00ed\u017eenci, nazna\u010duje, \u017ee na rozdiel od s\u00f3lov\u00fdch letov v programe Mercury v lodiach Gemini lietali astronauti vo dvojiciach.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kozmick\u00e1 lo\u010f mala ku\u017ee\u013eovit\u00fd tvar s maxim\u00e1lnym priemerom 3 metre, d\u013a\u017ekou 5,6 metra a hmotnos\u0165ou 3,6 tony. Skladala sa z troch \u00fasekov: prv\u00fdm bola kab\u00edna pre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=7410\">astronautov<\/a>, druh\u00fdm \u00fasek so z\u00e1sobami pohonn\u00fdch hm\u00f4t a tret\u00edm \u00fasek s brzdiacimi raketov\u00fdmi motormi. Lo\u010f bola prisp\u00f4soben\u00e1 iba na jeden let a na Zem sa vracala iba kab\u00edna s kozmonautmi, ktor\u00e1 prist\u00e1vala na vode. Z kab\u00edny bolo mo\u017en\u00e9 vyst\u00fapi\u0165 do otvoren\u00e9ho priestoru. Na \u0161pici kab\u00edny sa nach\u00e1dzalo r\u00e1dioloka\u010dn\u00e9 zariadenie a akt\u00edvny spojovac\u00ed uzol. Uskuto\u010dnili sa len dva nepilotovan\u00e9 lety: Gemini 1 a Gemini 2.<\/p>\n<h2>Ciele programu<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hlavn\u00fdm \u00fa\u010delom programu Gemini bolo uk\u00e1za\u0165, \u017ee \u010dlovek m\u00f4\u017ee v <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=4662\">bezv\u00e1hovom stave<\/a> pre\u017ei\u0165 dlh\u0161\u00ed \u010das a to vo vn\u00fatri <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adhara.sk\/?page_id=2711\">kozmickej lode<\/a> aj mimo nej. V r\u00e1mci toho sa sk\u00famal vplyv bezv\u00e1hov\u00e9ho stavu na \u013eudsk\u00fd organizmus. \u010eal\u0161ou \u00falohou bolo dokonal\u00e9 osvojenie si techniky stretnutia a spojenia vo vesm\u00edre, ako aj vycvi\u010denie astronautov. Z\u00e1rove\u0148 bol program Gemini pr\u00edpravou na program Apollo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Hist\u00f3ria a priebeh programu<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Rozhodnutie vyvin\u00fa\u0165 dvojmiestnu kozmick\u00fa lo\u010f ozn\u00e1mila NASA 7. decembra 1961. Meno Gemini dostala o mesiac nesk\u00f4r, 3. janu\u00e1ra 1962. Prv\u00e1 bezpilotn\u00e1 sk\u00fa\u0161ka sa uskuto\u010dnila 8. apr\u00edla 1964. Jej cie\u013eom bolo len overi\u0165 aerodynamick\u00e9 vlastnosti komplexu lode Gemini a rakety Titan, nebol pl\u00e1novan\u00fd n\u00e1vrat. Po s\u00e9rii odkladov sp\u00f4soben\u00fdch jednak po\u010das\u00edm a jednak technick\u00fdmi probl\u00e9mami od\u0161tartovala druh\u00e1 nepilotovan\u00e1 misia Gemini 2 19. janu\u00e1ra 1965. Lo\u010f letiaca po balistickej dr\u00e1he prist\u00e1la v Atlantiku. Posledn\u00fd sk\u00fa\u0161obn\u00fd let bol Gemini 3. V \u0148om kozmick\u00fa lo\u010f pilotovali astronauti Virgil Ivan Grissom a John Watts Young. Let prebehol \u00faspe\u0161ne a lo\u010f prist\u00e1la po troch obehoch. Misia preverila jej man\u00e9vrovacie schopnosti, \u010do malo v\u00fdznam pri \u010fal\u0161om pokra\u010dovan\u00ed programu, ktor\u00fd mal vyvrcholi\u0165 spojen\u00edm dvoch lod\u00ed vo vesm\u00edre. Gemini 3 bol tie\u017e posledn\u00fdm letom, ktor\u00e9ho riadenie prebiehalo zo Strediska riadenia vesm\u00edrnych letov (Mission Control Center) na Z\u00e1kladni vzdu\u0161n\u00fdch s\u00edl Cape Kennedy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u010eal\u0161ie lety sa riadili u\u017e zo Strediska pre kozmick\u00e9 lode s \u013eudskou pos\u00e1dkou (Manned Spacecraft Center) v texasskom Houstone. Trvanie nasleduj\u00facich troch letov sa postupne predl\u017eovalo, aby sa z\u00edskali sk\u00fasenosti s dlhodob\u00fdm pobytom \u010dloveka vo vesm\u00edre. Najv\u00fdznamnej\u0161ie zistenie bolo, \u017ee pribli\u017ene po t\u00fd\u017edennom pobyte \u010dloveka na obe\u017enej dr\u00e1he sa jeho fyziologick\u00e9 reakcie vracaj\u00fa do norm\u00e1lu. Pulz sa napr\u00edklad vracia do norm\u00e1lu u\u017e po 36 \u2013 40 hodin\u00e1ch od \u0161tartu. Medzi \u010fal\u0161ie lek\u00e1rske experimenty patrilo cvi\u010denie za letu, \u0161t\u00fadium sp\u00e1nku za letu, sk\u00famanie demineraliz\u00e1ce kost\u00ed a in\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">U\u017e pri misii Gemini 4 sa astronauti sna\u017eili o let vo form\u00e1cii a to s posledn\u00fdm stup\u0148om nosnej rakety. Pri tejto misii prebehol tie\u017e prv\u00fd v\u00fdstup do otvoren\u00e9ho priestoru &#8211; astronaut Edward White sa tak stal prv\u00fdm Ameri\u010danom, ktor\u00fd vyst\u00fapil mimo kozmick\u00fa lo\u010f. Pri \u010fal\u0161om lete Gemini 5 bolo z lode vypusten\u00e9 mal\u00e9 cie\u013eov\u00e9 teleso REP (Randez-vous Evaluation Pod), s ktor\u00fdm sa lo\u010f mala stretn\u00fa\u0165. K tomu v\u0161ak nedo\u0161lo kv\u00f4li chybe v energetickom syst\u00e9me. Ani \u010fal\u0161\u00ed pokus o spojenie pri lete Gemini 6A neskon\u010dil \u00faspe\u0161ne, preto\u017ee cie\u013eov\u00e9 teleso, dru\u017eica Agena, sa nedostala na obe\u017en\u00fa dr\u00e1hu. Vedenie projektu v\u0161ak r\u00fdchlo zmenilo pl\u00e1ny a napokon sa Gemini 6 stretla s pilotovanou lo\u010fou Gemini 7. 15. decembra 1965 do\u0161lo k historick\u00e9mu stretnutiu dvoch lod\u00ed na obe\u017enej dr\u00e1he. Po dobu 20 hod\u00edn a 22 min\u00fat sa tieto dve lode pohybovali v men\u0161ej vz\u00e1jomnej vzdialenosti ako 100 km. K prv\u00e9mu fyzick\u00e9mu spojeniu do\u0161lo a\u017e pri lete Gemini 8 s dru\u017eicou Agena, ktor\u00e9 sa uskuto\u010dnilo 16. marca 1966. Lo\u010f Gemini 11 vytvorila 14. septembra 1966 v\u00fd\u0161kov\u00fd rekord &#8211; 1 375 km nad zemsk\u00fdm povrchom.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Popis lode<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kozmick\u00e1 lo\u010f Gemini mala podobne ako lo\u010f Mercury tvar zrezan\u00e9ho ku\u017ee\u013ea, bola v\u0161ak celkovo v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ia, preto\u017ee musela poskytn\u00fa\u0165 dostatok priestoru pre dvoch astronautov a umiestnenia dodato\u010dn\u00e9ho vybavenia pre uskuto\u010dnenie dlhodob\u00e9ho orbit\u00e1lneho letu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">D\u013a\u017eka lode bola 5,67 metra, maxim\u00e1lny priemer 3 metre a hmotnos\u0165 3 600 kg. Pri Gemini 6A a Gemini 7 dosiahla hmotnos\u0165 3 800 kg a 3 828 kg. Lo\u010f bola rozdelen\u00e1 na 2 z\u00e1kladn\u00e9 \u010dasti: na n\u00e1vratov\u00fa kab\u00ednu s d\u013a\u017ekou 3,35 m a maxim\u00e1lnym priemerom 2,32 m a adapt\u00e9r s maxim\u00e1lnym priemerom 3,05 m a d\u013a\u017ekou 2,32 m. N\u00e1vratov\u00e1 kab\u00edna bola vyroben\u00e1 rovnakou technol\u00f3giou a z rovnak\u00fdch materi\u00e1lov ako kab\u00edna lod\u00ed Mercury. Mala dvojit\u00e9 steny, medzi ktor\u00fdmi bola umiestnen\u00e1 v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ina pr\u00edstrojov\u00e9ho vybavenia ako s\u00fa naviga\u010dn\u00e9 a komunika\u010dn\u00e9 zariadenia, po\u010d\u00edta\u010d, zariadenie pre zaistenie \u017eivotn\u00fdch podmienok apod. V\u010faka tomu mohol by\u0165 vlastn\u00fd interi\u00e9r kab\u00edny ve\u013emi preh\u013eadne zariaden\u00fd. Nach\u00e1dzali sa v \u0148om len kontroln\u00e9 pr\u00edstroje letu a brzdenia, mikrof\u00f3ny, potrava a zariadenie pre regener\u00e1ciu atmosf\u00e9ry. Napriek tomu v\u0161ak v kab\u00edne bolo len 1,6 m\u00b3 vo\u013en\u00e9ho priestoru, teda priestoru porovnate\u013en\u00e9ho s prednou \u010das\u0165ou osobn\u00e9ho automobilu. Atmosf\u00e9ra sa skladala z \u010dist\u00e9ho kysl\u00edka s tlakom 0,35 kg\/cm2. Teplota v kab\u00edne bola 18\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adapt\u00e9r sa delil na dva hlavn\u00e9 bloky. Jednak blok so 4 n\u00e1vratov\u00fdmi raketami na tuh\u00e9 palivo (d\u013a\u017eka 92 cm), zabezpe\u010duj\u00facimi zn\u00ed\u017eenie obe\u017enej r\u00fdchlosti pre zah\u00e1jenie n\u00e1vratu na Zem, a \u010falej na blok nes\u00faci z\u00e1soby pohonn\u00fdch l\u00e1tok a raketov\u00e9 d\u00fdzy pre orbit\u00e1lne man\u00e9vre (d\u013a\u017eka 140 cm). V adapt\u00e9ri bol tie\u017e umiestnen\u00fd hlavn\u00fd energetick\u00fd zdroj lode. Pre kr\u00e1tkodob\u00e9 lety i\u0161lo o zinkovo-strieborn\u00e9 \u010dl\u00e1nky. Pre dlhodob\u00e9 lety sl\u00fa\u017eila dvojica kysl\u00edko-vod\u00edkov\u00fdch palivov\u00fdch \u010dl\u00e1nkov. Priemern\u00e1 elektrick\u00e1 spotreba \u010dinila 2,16 kW pri celkovej kapacite energetick\u00e9ho syst\u00e9mu 151 kWh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Na \u0161pici n\u00e1vratovej kab\u00edny bol \u010falej umiestnen\u00fd r\u00e1diolok\u00e1tor a akt\u00edvny spojovac\u00ed uzol vyu\u017e\u00edvan\u00fd pre prip\u00e1janie lode k pas\u00edvnemu spojovaciemu telesu Agena. Na z\u00e1kladni kab\u00edny je pripevnen\u00fd \u010fal\u0161\u00ed diel s priemerom 3 m nes\u00faci brzdiace rakety, z\u00e1soby kysl\u00edka, pohonn\u00fdch hm\u00f4t a ostatn\u00e9 zariadenia nutn\u00e9 pre dlh\u0161\u00ed kozmick\u00fd let.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pri \u0161tarte, prist\u00e1t\u00ed a v\u00e4\u010d\u0161ine orbit\u00e1lnych \u010dinnost\u00ed mali astronauti oble\u010den\u00e9 skafandre. V t\u00fdch bola, podobne ako v n\u00e1vratovej kab\u00edne, \u010dist\u00e1 kysl\u00edkov\u00e1 atmosf\u00e9ra s tlakom 0,35 atmosf\u00e9ry. V skafandroch bolo mo\u017en\u00e9 vyst\u00fapi\u0165 z kab\u00edny priamo do kozmick\u00e9ho priestoru. Lo\u010f nemala osobitn\u00fa prechodov\u00fa komoru, pred v\u00fdstupom nastala dekompresia celej kab\u00edny. Na v\u00fdstup bola kab\u00edna vybaven\u00e1 dvojicou \u0161irok\u00fdch vstupn\u00fdch dver\u00ed. Tie boli hlavn\u00fdm a jedin\u00fdm vstupom do kab\u00edny a v pr\u00edpade hav\u00e1rie nosnej rakety by sl\u00fa\u017eili ako otvor pre katapult\u00e1\u017e astronautov s vyu\u017eit\u00edm katapultovac\u00edch kresiel. U lod\u00ed Gemini toti\u017e nebola vyu\u017eit\u00e1 z\u00e1chrann\u00e1 ve\u017ea, ak\u00e1 bola u lod\u00ed Mercury a Apollo. Katapultovacie rakety boli schopn\u00e9 v pr\u00edpade nebezpe\u010dia vynies\u0165 kresl\u00e1 v uhle 15\u00b0 do v\u00fd\u0161ky 150 m a do vzdialenosti 300 m od lode. Tento syst\u00e9m bolo mo\u017en\u00e9 vyu\u017ei\u0165 a\u017e do v\u00fd\u0161ky 20 km nad zemsk\u00fdm povrchom.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Na Zem sa vracala iba kab\u00edna s astronautmi. T\u00e1 bola na svojom tupom dne chr\u00e1nen\u00e1 tepeln\u00fdm \u0161t\u00edtom z fenolovej \u017eivice a v priebehu zostupu atmosf\u00e9rou vyu\u017e\u00edvala aerodynamick\u00fd vztlak. Bolo tak mo\u017en\u00e9 v ur\u010dit\u00fdch medziach ovplyv\u0148ova\u0165 miesto prist\u00e1tia. Po\u010d\u00edtalo sa iba s m\u00e4kk\u00fdm prist\u00e1t\u00edm na vodu. To zabezpe\u010doval prist\u00e1vac\u00ed pad\u00e1kov\u00fd syst\u00e9m zlo\u017een\u00fd zo stabiliza\u010dn\u00e9ho pad\u00e1ku s priemerom 5,5 m a z hlavn\u00e9ho pad\u00e1ku s priemerom 25,6 m. Maxim\u00e1lna r\u00fdchlos\u0165 prist\u00e1tia mohla by\u0165 a\u017e 9 m\/s. V priebehu letu sa preverili varianty ru\u010dne riaden\u00e9ho prist\u00e1tia i prist\u00e1tia riaden\u00e9ho palubn\u00fdm po\u010d\u00edta\u010dom.<\/p>\n<h2>Nosn\u00e1 raketa<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kozmick\u00e9 lode Gemini vyn\u00e1\u0161ala do vesm\u00edru nosn\u00e1 raketa Titan II. \u0160tartovali zo Z\u00e1kladne vzdu\u0161n\u00fdch s\u00edl Cape Canaveral.<\/p>\n<h2>Pilotovan\u00e9 lety<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>23. 03. 1965 \u2013 Gemini 3 Grissom, V.
